Mancherial Municipal Corporation (MMC) is the urban local governing body responsible for the administration and development of the city of Mancherial in the state of Telangana. It works to provide civic services, maintain infrastructure, and improve the quality of life for residents in the city. with a population of 2,28,450 as per 2011 Census in Mancherial District in Telangana.  It is situated on the Northern Boundary of River Godavari, which is also acting as a Southern Boundary of Mancherial Municipal Corporation as well as dividing line between the district of Adilabad and Karimnagar.  It lies at 180-57’ of North latitude and 720-27’ of Eastern longitude.  It also located on Delhi –Chennai Broad-gauge railway lines at a distance of 255 Kms. North of Hyderabad.  It extends over an area of 35.92 Sq.Kms..  It was constituted as IIIrd Grade Municipality in the year 1952 and subsequently upgraded as Mancherial Municipal Corporation vide G.O.Ms.No.14, dated 25-01-2025.
